Do Better Nashville is a local Nashville community organization. It belongs to all of us, not to any one person. But every organization needs somebody to answer the email. That's Bo, our Chairperson and Founder.
Bo Matthews Gutierrez has spent his career building audiences and getting people to pay attention, for artists, brands, and media companies across the country. He runs Disruptive Soul, a boutique music marketing studio based in Nashville. Getting attention is, quite literally, his job.
He lives on Music Row in District 17. Recently he became president of his HOA, after more than a year on the board watching his neighbors spend years asking the City of Nashville for straight answers and getting none.
He built Do Better Nashville with his neighbors: artists, songwriters, managers, lawyers, students, doctors, nurses, bartenders, and professional workers. Local people who pay taxes here and love living in Midtown. The site keeps the record of our fight public, and gives every neighbor in this city who is being ignored a place to be heard. Read the letter on the front page. It says the rest.
"And making noise? This is what I do."
